My ancsetor Pierson Reading from Trenton, New Jersey apparently lived in Batavia for quite some time. He wrote a couple letters to his son from there in 1841 and 1842. We are trying to find out what he was doing there. He ended up dieing in New Orleans in 1847. His son was Major Pierson Reading the first Pioneer of Shasta County California. I dont know much about Ohio and was wandering if you could lead me in the right direction. Maybe he had family there? Somebody told me there was a town called Reading above there. Do you have a phone number for The Clermont County Genealogical Society? I'm going to guess he was there on some kind of business venture because his wife Charity Reading and most of her children were still back in New Jersey. They were related to the Howell, Hunt and Guild families. Also Charity was first married to a Green. I'm hoping you can set me on my way.

Does anyone know if there are records for the cemetery at Mount Pisgah Church. I have family buried there but have no idea when Ella B. ADAMS or her son Burton ADAMS and his wife Lillian were buried. Information may help me determine the parents of Dollie ROBB or ADAMS b. 1874/75. She is supposed to be the daughter of Ella B. ADAMS (Barbara Ella ROBB) but I have no proof, only conflicting data.
