RECEIVES WORD OF J .A. ELLIS' DEATH

 

News has been received here of the death of John Albert (Al) Ellis of Buhl, Idaho, a former resident of Mt. Vernon.

 

Death occurred October 28. Mr. Ellis and his family resided in Mt. Vernon  several years ago.

 

He was born January 25, 1859, in Batavia, Ohio to John Samuel Ellis and Martha Eliza Pavey. 

 

Mr Ellis was an employee of the L&N Railroad at one time and lived in Sturgis, Kentucky  for years, until 1915 when he moved to Buhl, Idaho.

 

 Surviving are his wife, two Daughters, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
